This is Firefly, Ember's older sparktressling (older sister). I'm posting on her behalf because she is in too much pain to post herself at the moment.

She wanted me to tell you that the Fire Lord had her flogged with fire ropes but that she's still alive. Coal did not tell the Fire Lord that Ember overheard anything, he just reported seeing her disobeying the Fire Lord's orders. If Coal had told the whole story, Ember would have been killed for sure.
